3 Corps members to repeat their service year

three National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members who absconded from their duty postings will complete the service year again, the organization announced on Thursday. This was said at Gombe during the 2023 Batch “C” Stream I corps members’ Passing-Out Parade by the State NYSC Coordinator, Mrs. Chinwe Nwachuku. Nwachuku announced that three more people’s service years would be prolonged. She claimed that in Gombe State, a minimum of 1,210 corps members—662 men and 548 women—passed out. According to the coordinator, the Corps Disciplinary Committee met and decided to impose disciplinary sanctions on the relevant corps members for their numerous crimes.

She congratulated the outgoing corps members and advised them to use the abilities they had developed throughout their service year to become independent. “As you prepare to move on to the next level of your life, I encourage you to take with you the training, skills, education, and knowledge you have acquired.”Whether you choose to continue your studies, pursue a job, or start your own business , the skills you developed during your service year should be applied to your future efforts. “I am confident that you will make a distinctive difference in your respective fields.”You have also gained insightful knowledge of the customs, culture, and traditions of the people of Gombe state, which I believe will contribute to the desired rebirth, unity, and integration of the country. Nigeria longs for,” she said.
