Children are a blessing from God almighty entrusted to the parents to care for them from birth to adulthood.
After marriage the first thing every couple is eager to have is a child of their own.
Child upbringing is one important aspect of our lives as parents. Parents play an important role in the children’s lives, the teachers and the community or society. Child upbringing involves providing for the child, love, guidance, support and care.
It is the duty of the parents to shape the child into a responsible human that will be a benefit to both the parents and the society at large.
Children are more likely to be responsible when we show them love and affection, when we support them and most importantly spend time with them, spending time with them makes the bond stronger.
Stronger bonds allow the children to confide in the parents.
Of course parents are wiser and more sensible than their children. Parents need to lay down rules and regulations for their children so that they know what is expected of them. The parents should enforce these rules to help the child understand and be disciplined. Teaching them values and moral principles things that will shape their character for good things like kindness, respecting people especially the elderly, honest, etc.
